The 62nd anniversary of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s March on Washington speech, “I Have a Dream,” was on August 28, 2025. The historic March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom occurred on August 28, 1963, where King delivered his iconic speech at the Lincoln Memorial to over 200,000 attendees, calling for racial equality and economic justice. The 62nd anniversary serves as an invitation for continued action on social justice issues, as the work toward realizing King’s dream remains ongoing.
