Celestial Antiquity Sh2-126
The Great Lacerta Nebula (Sh2-126) is an emission nebula about 1,200 light years away in constellation Lacerta (Great Lizard). Part of the giant star-forming region, Lacerta OB1, the nebula is ionized by intense ultraviolet radiation from the star, 10 Lacertae.
