Cosmo NGC 5367

Seen here is NGC 5367, a reflection nebula located in the constellation of Centaurus. The dust fields seen here belong to the Cometary Globule, CG 12 and the blue light reflected within is from the double star H4636. The dust obscures light from the stars behind it, but in those areas where the layers of dust are not so thick, the light from the stars are reflected…. hence classified as a reflection nebula. 2500ly distant.
