David and I worked together since the mid 80’s. He was an inspiration and gentle soul who was devoted to making great music and having a great time. If he could not love what he was doing as a musician, and really seriously enjoy himself, then he’d rather not even bother. This is his enduring and inspiring message to all musicians and performers.
