Hoppy Jones (born as Orville Jones, 17 February 1905, Chicago, Illinois – d. 18 October 1944, New York City). Instrumentalist who played the cello in the manner of a stand-up bass, and came to prominence as a forming member of the American pop vocal group, The Ink Spots.
