Honoring my dad Mike Labriola today for serving in the US Army, stationed in his birth country of Italy. I don’t know the details. But dad opened up about this only once, while drunk and in tears over this experience. PTSD was at work here altering my father’s perspective and awareness from that day forward. But he chose to protect the country he loved, the USA.
